When I was a child I remember my great grandmother had peony bushes, tulips, and other lovely flowers in her yard. She was from Belgium so I guess the tulips reminded her of home and were a bit nostalgic. Gardening has become one of my favorite past times in recent years, pink peonies make my heart flutter.

Last month Giant Peach participated in the Buy Local First Fair sponsored by LVAA. Over 4,000 attendees were present for this amazing event! One attendee in particular stole my heart.

This little peach (wearing a Giant Peach creation) is the daughter of Stephanie Tanner, owner of Littleface Photography. She was such a sweetie despite the hot weather.

Special thank you to The Makery for hosting the Giant Peach Trunk Show! Was an exciting night full of fun, friends, snackies, and good tunes. (especially after the door was locked!) Well, yesterday was a lovely day! The White Horse Trading Post first annual Derby Boutique was a great success and so much fun with the fabulous Sarah Balmer of SARAH Jewelry & Erika Chavez-Graziano of Cellar Door Chocolate. Earlier in the morning it rained which made me think it might scare people away but the sun came out just in time to greet us full force.

Springtime always makes me happy! The blooms have been filling the air causing much anticipation for Giant Peach to start thinking big!
